Mari Luna Guacamole Molcajete-Yucatan & Veracurz

We tried 2 different kinds of guacamole the  Yucatan and the Veracruz

The chef put a serious savory spin on the Yucatan guacamole.  It had a salty and smoky full bodied flavor given by the bacon bits and Queso Fresco (cheese).   We have never seen guacamole quite like this before.

The Veracruz was a fresh and fruity preparation accented with mango, papaya and pomegranate seeds.  The flavors melded perfectly and despite all the fruit it was not too sweet.  It was very light and refreshing.  We greatly enjoyed the stone bowl it was served in.  It was quite fun.
