We would like to give a shout out to Rachel J. for
suggesting that we try Thai Arroy. She
raved about it at work and since we were in the mood for Thai we decided to
give her Thai a try. (Previous line
inspired by Dr. Suess.) We are so very grateful because the food truly was
delicious. Thai Arroy is a great hidden little
spot to grab lunch or dinner any day of the week. The décor was simple and consisted of two
gigantic murals on each long wall of the restaurant, presumably depicting scenes
of ancient Thai legend. In general the
staff was very friendly and efficient. The
owner of the restaurant came to check on us a few times and was gracious and
kind. The food was fabulous; everything
we tasted we really liked. The fresh
flavors and bold spices made for a delectable dinner. We recommend this restaurant for almost any
and all occasions. (We will say that is
not the most romantic spot. However you
could go there for a casual date.) The
cost was very reasonable. Our total bill
came to $62.33 for two people. As is
typical for Federal Hill, parking was a challenge because you have to park on
the street. Overall we rate Thai Arroy ♪♪♪ and ½ note.
