Melissa's Review of Mari Luna Bistro

My dear foodie friends let me start by saying that up until now I have not been a fan at all of (American) Mexican food.  I have issues with food piled high on my plate all running together.  Additionally I love cooking beans.  However, at no point have I ever had the need to re-fry a bean.  If you cook it right the first time you don’t have to cook it again.  Ok now I’m off my soap box.  Mari Luna is one of the first Mexican restaurants that I REALLY like.  The food is fresh, tasty, creative and orderly on my plate.  (Yes I know I have issues…Lol)  This chef has taken a Mexican American tradition to a new level.   I have a feeling that food served in this restaurant is much closer to what traditional Mexican food is like.  His bold use of flavor and fresh ingredients is intriguing and inspiring.  The atmosphere at Mari Luna is bright and beautiful.  Fun vibrant colors make the place glow with excitement.  The wait staff are friendly and energetic.  Overall I give Mari Luna ♪♪♪.
